I did not go to college to get the job I wanted. However I am here studying to get my license and so far it has cost me the equivalent of 3 credit hours at the local community college. After that I will have a solid week of classes. After that I have a week or two of having a “mentor.” All in I do have to say it is better than paying tens of thousands of dollars to get to this point like some places require. One may be able to pay for classes to cram ideas into their face but they cannot pay for people skills and the intelligence to process things.

Love that money so I’ll do what it takes. Well that and I would like to live comfortably for once in my life.

So far that is my problem too. My friends in college think I should be able to do what I want since I currently make(what they think at least) is okay money. However with this job I'll be adding on renting an apartment in a city and I'll finally need a decent car.

Pretty much how it works. You grow into your income.

I understand that you don’t see college as necessary, and honestly it’s a waste for a lot of people, but there are also times when it is definitely required for something someone may want to do. It’s a very subjective thing.

Oh, I understand it is absolutely necessary in many many many areas. I got lucky and randomly applied to a company that does not. I personally think it is ridiculous for some jobs that some companies require a degree.

A house maybe, but the current girlfriend is not a fan of marriage or children. I get the feeling the longer we are together and the more financially secure we are that may change.

I have two children that prove that no form of birth control is 100% effective.

I think with her it is as soon as she forgets people of the past she will want something different.
